Project: “Hermeneutics and Kierkegaard’s rewriting of biblical narratives”

Carrying on the research that I did for my PhD dissertation: “Mulighedens Spejl. Forestilling, fortælling og selvforhold hos Kierkegaard og Ricœur” (2005) (“The Mirror of Possibility. Imagination, narrative and self-relation in Kierkegaard and Ricœur”), I am currently investigating Kierkegaard’s reception and transformation of biblical motives. The focus of my research is particularly on the literary, hermeneutical and theological issues involved in interpreting how and why Kierkegaard rewrites biblical figures and narratives.
